In the south of Jura, in the region of bugey, Lucien Genier created his sawmill.

His son Marcel, who loved wood and was passionate by his work, modernised the paternal firm.


His son-in-law, Maurice Colmart, attached to his roots and devoted to the work with wood, settled down as a wood tourneur craftsman.


Having a taste for beautiful work, he decided to get into cabinetmaking through which he could fully express his creativity.


The firm has got bigger and has developped thanks to A. Colmart who has been following the family tradition.

 

The inheritance of the "savoir-faire" of the family gave birth to Pic-Epeiche, a lovely and authentic furniture for babies and children.
